The Academy Scholars Program at the Harvard Academy for Worldwide and Area Studies strives out and upholds exceptional scholars who are just beginning their educational career and whose work incorporates superior social science expertise with proficiency in a foreign language and/or other knowledge or expertise of other nations or regions outside of the United States and/or Canada. - A two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University’s Academy for International and Area Studies in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
- Five to six Academy Scholars are selected each year for two-year assignments that come with a $75,000 stipend each year and must be fulfilled within a three-year time frame.
- Two-year appointments as residents for the scholars who made the short list.
