The KNB Indonesian Government Scholarship is a prestigious award offered to talented individuals from developing countries, providing them with the opportunity to pursue their Master’s degree at one of 16 esteemed universities in Indonesia. Since its inception in 2009, the program has successfully awarded over 1,000 scholarships to students hailing from 71 developing countries worldwide.
The primary objectives of the KNB Scholarship Program are threefold: firstly, to contribute to the development of human resources in developing countries; secondly, to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures among developing nations; and thirdly, to strengthen the bonds of cooperation and collaboration among developing countries, thereby promoting a more harmonious and equitable world.

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarships at Indonesian Universities 2025
- Must have a TOEFL or IELTS score of 80 or 6.0 or equivalent
- Must complete the online application form
- Must sign the Statement Letter and Scholarship Agreement before departing to Indonesia
- Maximum age: 35 years old
- Must hold a bachelor’s degree (master’s degree holders are not eligible)
