5 Singapore Scholarships For Students

Top 5 Singapore Scholarships For students list is here. Singapore is a Great Place to Study for People of All Ages. Singapore has long been regarded as one of the world’s top educational hotspots. Cheaper than the United States, Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

The educational system of Singapore is regarded as one of the best in the world. 71% of students in this nation get superb marks, making it one of the brightest countries in the world. Two of Singapore’s universities have broken into the top 50 of the World University Rankings, a testament to the country’s high regard in higher education.

Because English is widely spoken across the country, the language barrier that many international students experience is minimal. International students flock to Singapore for a variety of reasons, and these are just a few of them. Exceptional students in Singapore, however, may apply for these scholarships despite the fact that tuition may be too costly for most.

1. Nanyang Undergraduate Scholarship

  • Subsidized-tuition grants are fully covered by this scholarship.
  • Eligibility Requirement: Full-time enrollment in an accredited undergraduate programme

In order to be eligible for the Nanyang Undergraduate Scholarship, candidates must demonstrate a high level of academic and extracurricular achievement. Another important element for the selection committee is the student’s ability for leadership.

This includes a complete tuition subsidy as well as an annual living allowance and transportation allowances, as well as an international trip award for those who qualify.

Before applying for this Singapore scholarship, prospective students must first apply for admission. For the first, you’ll need a high school diploma, a passport-sized digital picture, and an evaluation from a referee.

The specifics of the interview will be sent to the shortlisted candidates through email. Check with your relevant departments if you’re a student in the Medicine or Renaissance Engineering programmes to see whether your application has been accepted.

To preserve the grant, successful students must maintain a CGPA of 3.5/5 for each semester they attend.

2. Singapore University of Technology & Design Global Merit Scholarship

  • Amount: Full tuition reimbursement for up to four years.
  • SUTD’s Undergraduate Degree Program is a qualified degree.

This scholarship is offered only to high-achieving undergraduate students who want to study at SUTD. Scholars will be able to attend an 8-week Global Leadership Program at one of SUTD’s partner universities in addition to receiving a completely subsidized tuition. The travel and participation expenses associated with this programme will be covered by this scholarship in Singapore.

Through Fifth Row groups like University Ambassador Club, Global Merit Scholarship recipients are given the opportunity to develop their leadership abilities.

Participants in this programme must possess an IB diploma or a diploma comparable from another high school. Aside from that, the candidate has to have an interest in design and/or technology.

The institution has the right to revoke the scholarship if the recipient fails to meet the minimum standards of the programme or engages in academic misconduct.

The institution expects 20 hours of service from honorees. There are a number of ways this may be accomplished, including ambassadorship and media appearances.

3. National University of Singapore (NUS) Research Scholarship

  • Tuition cost assistance is the purpose of a scholarship (2 years for Masters, 4 years for Ph.D.)
  • Select NUS Masters (by Research) and Ph.D. programmes are eligible for this scholarship.

For overseas graduate students who succeed in research, the NUS Research Scholarship is one of Singapore’s most prestigious awards. Students who have just been accepted to the institution as well as those who are already enrolled will be considered.

All candidates, however, must have an Honors or Second-Class Honors (or comparable) degree. It is necessary for students to indicate on the application form that they are interested in applying for scholarships.

In May (for August admission) or October (for September entry), those who qualify for the scholarship will be notified (January entry). Applicants will also receive a monthly stipend ranging from $1,115 to $1,490, in addition to the full tuition subsidy (subject to MOE approval).

In addition to their present monthly stipend, Ph.D. students who pass the qualifying test will get an extra SGD 500 ($370). A year or more after the commencement of the programme, students take this test. It is possible that the NUS Research Scholarship may be extended for an additional year at the sole discretion of the scholarship organizers.
